Javitri Leaf (Mace) is a spice derived from the reddish, lacy covering of the nutmeg seed. It comes from the Myristica fragrans tree, which produces both nutmeg and mace. While nutmeg is the seed, mace is the dried aril that envelops it. Javitri has a warm, slightly sweet flavor with a hint of peppery spice. It is used in various global cuisines, especially Indian, Middle Eastern, and European dishes.

In Indian cooking, Javitri is commonly used in biryanis, curries, and spice blends like garam masala. It enhances the aroma and flavor of rice, meat, and vegetable dishes.
